Uncle Istvan was a man from Terisiare during the Dark Age of Dominaria.
Description
He was an old hermit, living alone in the woods. Eventually, the solitude drove him insane, and he became murderous to any intruders. Wielding a bloodied axe, his only company was those he could catch.[1]
Uncle Istvan gained enough notoriety that curses used in later parts of the Dark Age included "Uncle Istvan-damned", "Uncle Istvan take it all", and "Uncle Istvan piss on it".[2]
