Torturer is an unreleased acorn job for those who inflict pain on someone as a punishment or to force them to do or say something.

History

Torturer was a creature type designed for Unglued 2: The Obligatory Sequel before it was canceled. It was for a card called Phyrexian Librarian.

While the Librarian would eventually see print in Unhinged, where it was printed as a Horror before receiving errata to become a Phyrexian, the creature type Torturer has never been used on a Magic card.
