Fiend is an obsolete creature subtype for cards that represented malignant or diabolical beings.

Description

Fiend debuted as a creature type in Ice Age on Moor Fiend for a humanoid Horror created by Lim-Dûl. Moor Fiends appeared as humanoids with bluish skin and a reptilian elongated face that had two tusks. The type appeared again in Homelands on Timmerian Fiends which appeared to as two humanoids, one with an exposed skull and another with fur and animal-like features.

Fiend is often now used as a general term for a devil or demon, a malignant or diabolical being, or an evil spirit. Powerful demons or devils are sometimes called Archfiends.
