Hedgehog is a creature type for cards that depict small nocturnal mammals with a spiny coat and short legs, able to roll themselves into a ball for defense.
History
Hedgehog debuted as a Universes Beyond creature type in Secret Lair Drop Series: Sonic Superdrop for the characters of Sonic, Shadow, and Amy Rose from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.
Storyline
Hedgehogs have been depicted on cards from Lorwyn and Dominiaria. Hedgehog-folk have only appeared on Bloomburrow as part of the wider array of animal-folk.
