Alchemy: The Brothers' War is a MTG Arena-exclusive card set in the Alchemy-series that was released on December 13, 2022.[3][4]
Description
Alchemy: The Brothers' War is a digital only release adjacent to the release of The Brothers' War. There are 30 new designed-for-digital cards included in the set (10 uncommons, 15 rares, 5 mythic rares).[5] All of the cards are set on Dominaria.
Mechanics
The digital-only mechanics Conjure, Intensity, Perpetually, Seek and Spellbook are reused. From the main set, Prototype and Unearth are used.
Because Alchemy is mostly played 1v1, the designers built upon the design space of Forsaken Crossroads by creating cards the give an additional beneficial effect if you are not the starting player (e.g. Lonely End).[5]
Crucias, Titan of the Waves uses anchor words.

- Foundry Groundbreaker - The creature type Human was missing from the type line on release. The card has since been updated to Human Artificer.[6]
Into the Future event
The Into the Future event associated with Alchemy: The Brothers' War was held from December 13 to 15, 2022.[7][8] There were four preconstructed decks available to play which demonstrated how new cards could be used in the Alchemy format.
