Man is an unreleased acorn species for creatures who are partially human.
History
Man was a creature type that was designed for Unglued 2: The Obligatory Sequel before it was canceled. It was for a card called Poodleboy which represented a legendary Dog Man, a humanoid poodle.[1] Poodleboy had previously appeared in an old commercial for Magic: The Gathering.[2][3]
Normally human hybrids in the Multiverse would just use the human type in addition to their other type so a card like Poodleboy would just be printed as Dog Human.
