Narwhal is an obsolete creature type which represented a race of horned whales that often inhabit snow regions.

Description

Narwhal debuted as a creature type in Homelands on Narwhal. The type was made obsolete and given errata to just be whale during the Grand Creature Type Update.

Storyline

Ulgrotha

Narwhals are known to live in the seas of Ulgrotha. Kakra was a sea troll who claimed to rip off their horns and use them to stab fish.

Trivia

• Narwhal has never been physically re-printed with its new type line, though it did appear with its errata in Magic Online.
• Narwhals have not appeared on a new, non-reprint card since their original appearance in Homelands.
