King is an obsolete creature type for male monarchs who rule over a kingdom.
Description
King was a creature type that debuted in Arabian Nights on King Suleiman. In the Grand Creature Type Update, the type was made obsolete and changed to be just Human. Later on Noble was re-introduced and took its place. However, the original card with the type has never been re-printed as it is part of the Reserved List.
Numerous planes and races in the Multiverse have kingdoms that Kings rule.

- In Limited Edition Alpha, Goblin King was shortly a creature type as well.
