Barishi is an obsolete creature type for cards that represented a type of plant elemental bovine.

History

Barishi debuted as a creature type in Weatherlight on Barishi. With the release of Weatherlight on Magic Online, the type was made obsolete and replaced with elemental.

Description

The Barishi appears to be an elemental aligned with green mana with a form similar to an ox except that it is covered in or made up of various vegetation, flowers, and branches. It has four legs with clawed feet and red eyes that stand in contrast to the rest of its green body. They are known to live on Dominaria. They are likely associated with rebirth as when it dies, it is exiled and all creatures return from the player's graveyard to their library.
