Elves is an acorn creature type for elves that impersonate Elvis

History

Elves was the printed type for Elf in older cards before Summon was made obsolete. Examples include Llanowar Elves (Alpha) up to Darkwatch Elves (Urza's Legacy). These were later given Errata to just be creature type of Elf.

Elves became a silver-bordered (now called acorn) creature type in Unglued and has yet to appear in any other set. It was, however, reprinted in Unsanctioned.
