Digody was an advisor to Lord Peemel in the city-state of Iwset in the Dark Age of Terisiare, on the plane of Dominaria.[1]

Description

Digody was of an unknown but specifically non-human race, with glowing red eyes, a gaunt, sallow-skinned body, and a thin goatee. He typically wore long robes. He worked as an advisor to lord Peemel, but secretly hoped to overthrow him and take the power for himself. He was not born in Iwset but came to live there at some point.[1]

History

Coernn employed the shapeshifter Isak Glen'Dard to act as his go-between, unaware that Isak was in league with another powerful character of Iwset, the general-in-chief Ihesia. He sent the spy Feyne to spy on the sorcerer Coernn and on Vervamon's group. Digody also sent Isak Glen'Dard to kill the blood witch Sacumon.[1]

When Lord Peemel surprised Digody by having kidnapped Lady Edara of Jehesic, Digody saw an opportunity. With this act, Peemel had doomed himself in the eyes of the people, and would never be able to rule the western coast. So Digody took his dagger and stabbed his lord in the back, sending him toppling to the floor. Before Digody could consolidate his power, however, he was stabbed in the back by his long-standing rival Apepei, Lady Edara's secret lover. Digody died as his lord had, and his ambitions came to naught.[1]
