Aurochs is a seldom used green creature type connected to the Ice Age of Dominaria. The aurochs are the extinct ancestor of domestic cattle, far larger than most modern cattle with a shoulder height of 2 metres (6.6 ft) and weight of 1,000 kilograms. On the cards, each Aurochs has trample and "Whenever ~ attacks, it gets +1/+0 until end of turn for each other attacking Aurochs".
The first creature to bear the type was the archetypal Aurochs in the Ice Age set.
The type was revived for Coldsnap which had Aurochs Herd, Bull Aurochs, and Rimehorn Aurochs.
