Inquisitor is a creature class used for cards that depict a person inquiring, especially one seen to be excessively harsh or searching. It is currently only used as a Warhammer 40K crossover type.
Description
Inquisitor was first used for the Serra Inquisitors in Homelands. The type was replaced with Cleric in the Grand Creature Type Update.
It was reintroduced for the crossover Warhammer 40,000 Commander Decks, where it is used to represent the clandestine agents of the Imperial Inquisition.
Eleven older cards have Inquisitor in their names but do not have the Inquisitor type. As the type isn’t brand specific it could still appear in future sets.[1]
