Ponies: The Galloping 2 - Extra Life 2023 is an acorn drop of cards in the Secret Lair product range and a continuation of the Secret Lair Drop Series. It is available for pre-order purchase from the Wizards of the Coast webshop secretlair.wizards.com from September 18th, 2023. The price is $ $39.99 / $49.99 (foil).[2][3]
Description
This Secret Lair Drop is a crossover with Hasbro's My Little Pony franchise. It is a part of Wizard's annual Extra Life fundraiser to benefit the Seattle Children’s Hospital.[4] A donation of 50% of all proceeds went towards the charity event.
The drop is a follow-up to Ponies: The Galloping, containing the pony friends mentioned on Princess Twilight Sparkle. If players control all five cards, every player wins the game.
Like the previous set, the cards are silver-bordered, despite the fact that acorn-stamped cards had been introduced in Unfinity. This was purposely done to match the original Ponies: The Galloping release.[5]
All cards are mechanically unique.
