Elves is an acorn creature type for elves that impersonate Elvis
History
Elves was the printed type for the Elf in older cards before Summon was made obsolete. Examples include Llanowar Elves (Alpha). These were later given Errata to just be creature type of Elf.
Elves became a silver-bordered (now called acorn) creature type in Unglued and has yet to appear in any other set. It was, however, reprinted in Unsanctioned.
Trivia
- Elvish Impersonators is the only card with this type so far.
- The artist for Elves was credited as Claymore J. Flapdoodle but actually is Phil Foglio.[1]
