Cave People is an obsolete two-word creature type for cards that represented a type of human who resides in caves.
History
Cave People debuted as a creature type in The Dark on Cave People. It was later re-printed in Fourth Edition, Renaissance, and Fifth Edition but has not been since. The type was later dropped in the Grand Creature Type Update, and it was given errata to just be Human.
Description
The Cave People appear to be humans who resided in caves on the continent of Terisiare on Dominaria.[1] In their original art, they appeared as an abstract humanoid peeking out from within a dark cave. In their reprinted art in Fifth Edition, they are much more human and are seen wearing clothes and having stairs and bridges connecting their numerous caves.
Trivia
- Cave People has never been physically or digitally reprinted with its new type line.
