Autobot is an acorn creature type for a race of sentient mechanical self-configuring modular robotic lifeforms. It is a crossover type from the Tranformers franchise.
History
The creature type was first used for the 2017 HASCON promo Grimlock, Dinobot Leader, which was a mashup of Magic and Transformers (another HASBRO brand).[1]
The similar card from Heroes of the Realm named Optimus Prime, Inspiring Leader later used Autobot as well.
Trivia
- All current Autobots are artifact creatures.
- Grimlock, Dinobot Leader is a Double-faced card which transforms from an Autobot to a Dinosaur.
