Shy counter are a type of counter introduced on a Test card at the 2024 Amsterdam Planechase Unknown event.

Description

Shy counters first appeared on the Shy Town plane test card as part of the Planechase Unknown event. The plane makes it so whenever the player planeswalks to it or whenever chaos ensues, the player may put a shy counter on up to one target creature that each opponent controls. Creature with a shy counter become a Coward in addition to its other types. The plane then creates warriors who can't be blocked by cowards.
