Ribbon counters are a type of counter introduced in The Lord of the Rings Commander Decks.

Description

Ribbon counters first appeared on Prize Pig in The Lord of the Rings Commander Decks. It is a creature that gains the counters whenever the player gains life with it gaining one for each amount of life gained. They are meant to represent the best-in-show animal with the pig gaining more and more ribbons as accolades. Once it reaches three or more of the counters, the counters get removed and it gets untapped. It also has an activated ability to add mana which can then be re-triggered after being untapped.
