Invitation counters are a type of counter introduced in Innistrad: Crimson Vow. It acts as a counter for the transform mechanic of Double-faced cards.

Description

Invitation counters first appeared on Wedding Announcement in Innistrad: Crimson Vow. One of the counters is added to the enchantment at the beginning of the player's end step. After 3 or more counters build up on it, then it transforms into Wedding Festivity. The counters represent the invitations being sent out before the wedding starts.
