Loot counters are a type of counter first introduced in Outlaws of Thunder Junction.

Description

Loot counters were introduced in Outlaws of Thunder Junction on Bandit's Haul. They are used as a thematic representation of the proceeds of crime. Bandit's Haul is an artifact that gets loot counters added to it as the players commit crimes, representing the increasing riches gained by thieving. The player is then able to use an activated ability for 2 colorless mana to remove 2 loot counters and draw a card.
