Intel counters are a type of counter introduced in Transformers. They act as a marker on exiled cards that may return to the player's hand in the future.

Description

Intel counters first appeared on Flamewar, Brash Veteran//Flamewar, Streetwise Operative in Transformers. The card in question uses the More Than Meets the Eye mechanic to transform into the other. The Streetwise Operative form is a vehicle that is also a creature due to Living Metal. When it attacks, it transforms and exiles cards with the counter on them from the top of the player’s library equal to the number of damage it deals when attacking. The Brash Veteran form has an ability that lets the player discard their hand and return all the exiled cards with the counter on them to the player's hand. The type marks the cards as future Intel that the player may use.
