Plot counters are a type of counter introduced in Conspiracy: Take the Crown. They are created by an ability that can be activated by any player in the game since Conspiracy is made for multiple players.
Description
Plot counters first appeared on Deadly Designs in Conspiracy: Take the Crown and later re-printed in Masters 25. It is an enchantment with an ability that can be activated by any player which adds Plot counters to it. Then should it build up to 5 or more Plot counters, the enchantment is sacrificed in exchange for destroying 2 creatures. Its ability to allow multiple players to activate it represents a plot between players to destroy enemy creatures after at a designated time.
Trivia
- In Magic Online, the counter is colored green as its considered a positive effect and shares its icon with Filibuster, Landmark, Level, Lore, Page, Quest, and Study counters.[1]
