Evolving from giant slugs before Dominaria's Ice Age, Thermopods developed a furnace-like organ in their bellies.[1] This organ heated the thermopods' blood as it was pumped from their heart. In time, the organ spread out and formed a mesh of heated membranes just beneath the flesh of the thermopods’ belly.
