Otter is a creature type that is used for Magic cards that depict semiaquatic fish-eating mammals of the weasel family, with an elongated body, dense fur, and webbed feet.
The type was introduced in Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths[1] with Lutri, the Spellchaser and Thieving Otter. Ikoria Commander added Eon Frolicker.
Lutri was banned in Commander the day it was spoiled.[2]
