Daleks are the archenemies of The Doctor. They battled the Doctor constantly since their creation and fought the Time Lords in the Last Great Time War. Though this ended in the near-total destruction of the Dalek race, they later rebuilt and restored their empire. Intensely xenophobic and bent on universal domination, the Daleks are hated and feared throughout time and space. Their goal is to eradicate all non-Dalek life.
