Trilobite is a creature type used for cards that depict a prehistoric marine arthropod with a carapace over the forepart, and a segmented hind part divided longitudinally into three lobes.

The first creature to bear the type was Shore Keeper from Ixalan. With the Core Set 2019 rules update the type was also added to Electryte.[1] Scuttling Sliver from Modern Horizons is a Sliver Trilobite.

Storyline

Over their long life spans, the larger of the Ixalan trilobites accumulate vast treasure troves in their guts.
