Tentacle is a token-only creature type introduced in Theros Beyond Death. It is used for cards that depict flexible limbs or appendages from a Kraken, used for grasping or moving about (e.g. Nadir Kraken).
A tentacle is not really a race or class. The type fulfills the same function as the non-legal type Head that appeared in the Face the Hydra Challenge Deck from the Theros block. The latter was always combined with the creature type Hydra.
