Javelin counters are a type of counter introduced in Fallen Empires. They act as a resource for damaging a creature or player.
Description
Javelin counters first appeared on Icatian Javelineers in Fallen Empires and later re-printed in various sets. It is a creature that enters the battlefield with a single Javelin counter on it which it can then use to deal 1 damage to a creature or player via an activated ability. This represents the creature throwing its javelin to cause damage.
Trivia
- In Magic Online, the counter is colored green as its considered a positive effect and shares its icon with Aim, Arrow, and Arrowhead counters.[1]
