Hatching counters are a type of counter introduced in Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty.

Description

Hatching counters first appeared on The Dragon-Kami Reborn in Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty. It is a saga enchantment that for its first two lore counter abilities it will let the player look at the top 3 cards of their library and exile 1 of them face down with one of the counters on it while putting the other 2 at the bottom of the library. Its third lore counter ability transforms it into Dragon-Kami's Egg which can cast a spell from the exiled cards with Hatching counters without paying its mana cost whenever it or another Dragon dies.
