oracle:"CRANK! counter"

The CRANK! counter is the counter that is used to track which sprocket is active, and thus, which Contraptions can be cranked each turn. The CRANK! counter is exclusively connected to Contraption cards. At the beginning of each upkeep, it is placed onto the next sprocket. If you don't have any Contraption in the battlefield, then you don't need to move the CRANK! counter.
