The Secretist: Part Two

Varolz is a fierce troll warrior of the Golgari Swarm on Ravnica. He was chosen as the Golgari maze runner.[1]

Description

Varolz is about 12–15 feet tall. He has a symbiotic fungus living on him that repairs his wounds, replacing his skin with tough scar tissue which means that the more battles he's in, the tougher he gets.[2]

History

Varolz was the elected the [[Golgari]9 maze-runner for the Implicit Maze. He completed the run successfully and showed up at the Forum of Azor hoping to wreak havoc. When Jace Beleren linked the minds of all the maze-runners to stop the chaos, this triggered the Supreme Verdict, which made Jace Ravnica's new Living Guildpact.[3]

During the War of the Spark, Varolz was present in the Golgari meeting with Kaya's group as one of the members who could take over Golgari's leadership.[4]
