Tibor and Lumia were a pair of Izzet League champions on Ravnica. They were a husband and wife team of powerful archmages who fought together in defense of the League's interests.

Description

Tibor was a master of wind magic, using his command over air currents to create storms and keep himself aloft, and he was most renowned for his use of magical flight.[1] Lumia, in contrast, is a master of earth and fire magic and can summon magma from deep beneath the city streets to scorch enemies on the ground. Tibor was known for his calm wisdom and noble bearing, often described as having his head in the clouds, while Lumia is driven by a fiery passion and an unpredictable, wild-eyed abandon that makes her magic all the more dangerous. Together, they exemplified the chaotic brilliance of the Izzet League's experimental magocracy.

However, Tibor was killed during the War of the Spark, when the forces of Nicol Bolas brought devastation to Ravnica, and many guild champions fell defending their city.[2] He was later mourned by Ral Zarek.
