History
Emil was tasked with investigating the burning of the Titan’s Keg tavern. He navigated through the ruins, interviewing witnesses and piecing together the chaotic events that led to its destruction. Emil engaged in a conversation with Orik, a massive troll and former bouncer of the tavern. Despite Orik's intimidating appearance and affiliation with the Rakdos guild, Emil gathered crucial information about the night's events from him. Throughout Orik's narrative, Emil learns of the bizarre and grotesque details related to the tavern incident, such as the involvement of goblins, an imp, and a zombie named Piggy. Despite the unsettling nature of these revelations, Emil remained focused on extracting pertinent details to solve the case.
Emil learned from Orik that Uzric, a Rakdos guildmage, orchestrated the presence of the troll to relay information about the incident. This culminated in a shocking turn of events where Orik, under magical influence, self-destructed in a fiery explosion, killing everyone present and leveling a third of Merrytown.
