The Teratogens constitute a class of the Golgari elite on Ravnica; the other classes being the Devkarin and the humans. Up until the Decamillennial, the teratogens were the ruling class. Afterward, however, the Devkarin took over.

Teratogens can essentially come from any background conceivable, though they consist primarily of non-humanoids such as plants, mutants, harpies, nagas, griffins, and centaurs.
