Zahid is a djinn from Dominaria. He has blue skin, glowing blue eyes, pointed ears, tattoos, black hair, black eyebrows and a long thin moustache. Sometimes his hair changes into black smoke.[1]
History
Originally bound to a lamp, he was no one's servant. Those who sought to compel him found that their power over him vanished the moment he was released from the lamp.[2]
Zahid was later bound to the blue sapphire that was taken from his lamp and placed into a choker used by the Cabal imposter Liliana Vess. He was forced to do her bidding and was instrumental in enslaving the people of Caligo. Zahid was released when Araithia Shokta broke the amulet and consequently subdued by the real Liliana using the Chain Veil, after which he was forced to leave.[1]
