Geetra is a precognitive mage from Ravnica.
History
Geetra first put her prophetic gifts to use as a young thief on the streets of Ravnica. Caught while still a teenager, she was pardoned on the condition that she would serve the Azorius Senate instead of facing punishment. For decades, she worked in near-total anonymity, her visions overlooked and undervalued by those she served. In recent years, as the senate has shown renewed interest in precognitive magic, Geetra has stepped into a more visible and respected role, which she has embraced wholeheartedly.[1]
Though she sometimes worries about the consequences her guild’s actions have for the rest of Ravnica, she believes deeply that her visions help protect people from chaos and uncertainty. In her view, chaos only destroys, but her foresight is a safeguard that allows society to endure and thrive in every possible future she can glimpse.[2]
