Ferrous Rokiric was a legendary Wojek Commander-General from Ravnica.[1] He is credited with the monumental task of bringing the colossal stone Titans of Ravnica into the city during the fourth century of the first millennium. The Rokiric Pavilion, a notable landmark within Ravnica, bears his name in honor of his achievements.
History
More than nine thousand years ago, the sprawling city of Ravnica was plagued by turmoil and unrest. Though the magical Guildpact had been in place for around four centuries—establishing a balance of power and duties among the ten guilds—the city was still rocked by violent and destructive uprisings, particularly from the Golgari and the Rakdos. These rebellions severely strained the Wojek League, the organization charged with maintaining law and order, pushing its resources to their limits.
In response to this crisis, Commander-General Ferrous Rokiric conceived a bold strategy to restore peace: he oversaw the deployment of ten massive Titans of Ravnica, stone constructs each capable of matching the strength of a hundred soldiers in battle. These Titans were instrumental in quelling the rebellions and reestablishing control over the city. After the uprisings were suppressed, nine of these towering guardians were positioned at the city’s outer borders to deter further unrest, while the tenth and most prominent titan, known as Zobor, was stationed at the Center of Ravnica. This titan stood as a symbol of the Boros Legion's enduring might until its eventual destruction during the Decamillennial Celebration.[2]
