Novijen is the former Simic Guildhall on Ravnica. It was the genetics laboratory where the Simic designed and perfected their biological experiments.
Description
Novijen itself had, by all accounts, been grown rather than built, but it was the greenhouse in the upper part of the guildhall that the progenitor Momir Vig used as an ongoing experiment in biomanalogical architecture.[1] It was a floating, womblike building composed of a hybrid of living matter and sculpted stone held in place by thick cables designed to keep it isolated from the surrounding structures.[2]
History
When Project Kraj went out of control, Novijen was incorporated as the head of the cytoplast monster. After the demise of Project Kraj, all parts were deconstructed by the quietmen.
