Mirko Vosk is a high-ranking member of the House Dimir and a mind drinker vampire detective on Ravnica.
History

Vosk was charged both with retrieving memories as well as implanting identities and other information in the minds of others. One of his victims was the Dimir mage Sarusin, whose memories were supplanted by that of a former Dimir excisor.[1] When the Izzet League began their research into the Implicit Maze, Mirko was assigned to gather as much knowledge of the maze as possible, leading him to cross paths with Jace Beleren. Ultimately, his presence as a Guild Champion was proven redundant by Lazav's participation in the maze. Mirko ran the Implicit Maze as representative of the Dimir. He completed the maze, and was present at the Forum of Azor when the Supreme Verdict made Jace Beleren the new Living Guildpact.[2]
Vosk has been adrift ever since House Dimir's destruction during the New Phyrexian Invasion.[3] His talents with mind-influencing magic should have been enough to secure him a position anywhere in Ravnica's criminal underworld, but neither freelance mercenary work nor leisure time captures his interest the way Dimir manipulations and subterfuge did. Instead, he's found a new occupation: conspiracy theorist. He's become convinced that House Dimir was not truly destroyed during the invasion, and instead took advantage of the chaos to stage its demise and retreat into the shadows. Mirko believes that since then Dimir agents have been quietly rebuilding and continuing to manipulate events under the leadership of Lazav, their supposedly dead mastermind. Mirko now spends his days hunting down rumors and clues of Lazav's whereabouts and identity.[4] He thinks that if he can track down his former guildmaster, then he will prove himself worthy of rejoining the Dimir and regain his rightful place within the guild.
