Ambroz Benakov is an Orzhov pontiff and corrupt official on Ravnica.

History

Ambroz became infamous for making a pastry chef's wife disappear to claim protection rights to other commoners in the area of the city. He sent his thugs and blackguards out to extort local vendors, and roused the attention of the Boros as well as the local thieves' circle. One of those thieves, Tanek, dared to trip the pontiff and snatch a bag of gold from him while he was walking among the populace, but the thief was tracked down by the Boros legionnaire Radomir. Although Radomir did bring the bag of gold back to Ambroz, he did recruit Tanek to work for him spying upon Ambroz and his cronies.
