Prahv is the former guild hall for the Azorius Senate on Ravnica, destroyed in the Parhelion crash. Renamed "Old Prahv" (to contrast with New Prahv), the stately but ruined building has been converted into a nature preserve.
Description
The original Prahv was a large castle-like structure of white marble. It had six soaring towers and two large blue domes at the end of the grand hall. The domes covered the senate courts.[1]
History
The original Prahv stood for millennia, serving as the venue for many renowned hearings, trials, and judgments. It was within these halls that the angel Feather revealed to the guild leaders the existence of the Ghost Quarter of Agyrem, and recounted the fate of the airborne angel-fortress, the Parhelion, which had come to rest there. She also issued a grave warning about the ongoing threat posed by the Dimir vampire lord, Szadek. Shortly after this pivotal trial, Prahv was struck by none other than the Parhelion itself, causing catastrophic damage. Three of its towers collapsed, and its majestic blue dome shattered—though the central hall and three remaining towers endured.[1][2] The ruined site of Prahv was eventually abandoned to nature and now serves as a wilderness preserve.[3]
For years, the Azorius Senate was mired in bureaucratic paralysis, endlessly debating the where, when, and how of rebuilding their guildhall. It was only after Isperia assumed leadership of the guild that reconstruction efforts of New Prahv finally began.
