Ravnica Remastered is the third remastered Magic: The Gathering set in the Masters series to appear in paper. It was released on January 12, 2024.[3]
Set details
“ | Worthy of the Guilds | ” |
Ravnica Remastered contains cards from the Ravnica block, the Return to Ravnica block, the Guilds of Ravnica block and Commander product cards that are set on Ravnica (spanning thirteen sets across sixteen years).[3][4] It is a fully draftable set.[5]
The set features 291 regular cards (110 commons, 90 uncommons, 71 rares, 20 mythic rares), and includes randomly inserted premium versions of all cards.[6] #282 to 291 are the shock lands, and there are no basic lands. #292 to 301 are borderless shock lands (Collector Boosters only). #302-415 are showcase retro frame versions of a selection of the previous cards, and #416-445 are a selection of borderless versions in an anime art style.[7] Twenty-one Collector Booster exclusive retro frame cards (1 commons, 10 uncommons, 7 rares, 3 mythic rares) are #446-466. #467 is the release card. Collector Boosters also contain serialized versions of the showcase retro frame cards.
The design of the set features all ten Guilds of Ravnica. The designers were able to fit 26 out of the possible 29 guild mechanics into the set, with Undergrowth, Cipher and Radiance left out for power-level reasons.[8] To make sure that there was an adequate amount of mana fixing for an entire table of ten guilds, a "mana-slot" in every booster was reserved for Guildgates, Signets, shock lands, and/or Chromatic Lantern.[8]

Misprints
- Boros Guildmage is the only guildmage printed with the gold-colored Power/Toughness box of multicolored cards rather than the light grey box of hybrid cards.
- Tomik, Distinguished Advokist was printed with an Azorius Senate watermark while the character is a former Guildmaster of the Orzhov Syndicate.[10][11]
Trivia
- Pack Rat appears in both retro frame and anime, but doesn't have a default version.
- Deathrite Shaman is the first retro frame card to use the hybrid-style half-color frame.[12]
- Notably absent cards are the high value Doubling Season (Ravnica: City of Guilds) and Smothering Tithe (Ravnica Allegiance), which were both reprinted recently in the Enchanting Tales bonus sheet and Commander Masters.
- Makeshift Battalion was originally printed in War of the Spark, so despite its triggered ability working identically to the battalion mechanic, it was not keyworded. However, its printing in this set does feature the keyword.
