Mindosz was an unlucky Izzet magelord who dared to oppose Niv-Mizzet's opinion, claiming that the metal mizzium was not so impervious as was said and that it was possible to create temperatures that could melt it. Niv-Mizzet strongly disagreed, and Mindosz, earning the title Heretic, was immolated by the Firemind's breath in 3203 Z.C.[1] Ironically, Mindosz’s death resulted from one of the few things that could actually melt mizzium, dragon fire.[2]
