Daniel Holt is a Senior Game Designer at Wizards of the Coast, where he works for Magic: The Gathering since January, 2018.[1]
R&D
Originally an Experience Designer, Daniel collaborated with art directors, writers, and concept artists to construct inviting/functional world guides for future Magic sets.[2] He also developed assets to support the games’ many outlets including card frames, set symbols[3], and merchandise. He provided artistic direction during the card proofing process in terms of crops and foiling, as well as final text approval.
In July 2022, he transitioned to full time Game Designer.[4]
Additionally, Holt wrote Magic Story recaps for Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty.
