Jay Moldenhauer-Salazar is credited with creating both the name and flavor text for the card Horobi, Death's Wail from Champions of Kamigawa.

Jay Moldenhauer-Salazar was a writer for Magicthegathering.com from 2001–2007, who focused on writing articles about deck construction. He also worked for Wizards of the Coast writing stories and working on world-building for Fifth Dawn[1], Kamigawa Block[2][3][4] and Ravnica: City of Guilds[5].

“  To me, the coolest thing about the “Bringer” cycle is that when I submitted the names the set was still called “Tomato.” I only found out later that the set was named Fifth Dawn, making the Bringers a cornerstone of the set's flavor.[1]  ”
