Token Doublers are cards that duplicate the amount of tokens a player controls. There are numerous cards that provide this effect and one which even triples tokens, i.e. Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation.

Applying this effect over and over creates exponential growth of tokens. This can be even accelerated if one of the tokens is itself a token doubler. For balancing reasons creatures who provides this effect are often legendary, but there are also ways to create a non-legendary copy of such a creature, i.e. Irenicus's Vile Duplication.

The formula to track the how many tokens are created is given by x×2y, where x is the number of tokens currently on the field and y is the number of token doublers currently on the field.

The formula naturally changes to x×3y when tokens are tripped.
