(There's only 1 card that uses this keyword action! It'd be redundant to include "whenever you crank this contraption" effects since the ALL have that. Updated search & description. Because of encoding issues in search template I'm using a forward reference instead of a more precise backreference in the regex to exclude the not-using-the-keyword-action results; this is technically incorrect since it' also exclude contraptions that crank themselves. Luckily no such contraption exists.)

(Not quite the usual form of reminder text since Crank is actually a meaningless term that only serves for other abilities to trigger off of, but this is still reminder text that does explain cranking.)

Crank is a keyword action introduced in Unstable which triggers the effects of Contraptions.[1][2]

Description

To crank a Contraption means to trigger the triggered ability they have. Once any Contaptions are assembled, their controller cranks certain contraptions each upkeep based on which sprocket their CRANK! counter moves to. Abilities may also cause a player to crank Contraptions, but currently only Clock of DOOOOOOOOOOOOM! does so.
