Tolsimir Wolfblood is a long-lived elven evangelist of the Selesnya Conclave on Ravnica and one of the greatest Ledev Guardians.
Description
Tolsimir is a great warrior and a skilled archer who wears green and silver armor.[1] His mount is a massive white wolf named Voja, the father of Biracazir.[2] He is more dedicated to his guild than even his own life.
History
First seen during the Decamillennial, they were still active during the War of the Spark, where they fought to oppose the forces of the Dreadhorde.
After the Phyrexia invasion Tolsimir was still present. He was one of the attendees at the Orzhov celebrations at Karlov Manor. Here he became a person of interest after a string of murders.[3] The detective Alquist Proft ruled him out as a suspect, but still invited him to a gathering at Vitu-Ghazi, where he revealed that the party responsible for the murders was a member of the Conclave. Tolsimir stepped forward and tried to admit guilt, but Proft said that he was trying to take the fall for another member of his guild, which he had determined to be the guildmaster Trostani herself. When the dryad Oba revealed herself as the mastermind and began attacking all the guild members present, Tolsimir defended her, allowing himself to be impaled with a broken rafter by Yarus.[4]
Trivia
- Tolsimir and Voja appear in the trailer for Ravnica: City of Guilds.[5]
