As the city of Ravnica was built higher and higher, the lower regions fell to the darker guilds and became known as The Undercity.[1] The Rakdos mining has changed the center of the mountain into a giant column.[2] During New Phyrexia's Invasion of the Multiverse, parts of the Undercity were raised into the city's streets.[3][4]
